Aunt Lorri & Bethany, I'm so sorry for your loss. I know that this has been difficult, but I'm sure that your strong faith and memories of happy times together will see you through. I will keep you in my prayers.

When I think of Uncle Ronnie, I think of many little moments that I spent with him as a kid that mean so much to me. I always remember being a bit disappointed when he wasn't home when we went to go visit Grammy and Grampy because I wanted to show him how many times I could lift the barbell that was in his room. I remember watching Celtics / Lakers games with him and Uncle Rod and playing H.O.R.S.E at the hoop on the barn. I always wanted to match his deep 3-point shots. I loved his Z28 and when he let me "drive" his motorcycle in the field along side the cows. Seeing Rocky IV always reminds me of him and how you guys took me to the movies to see it when it opened. I'll never forget that 8' snake that we saw at the pond that sent us both running scared back to Grammy's. But, most importantly, I'll always remember the countless hours we all spent just sitting on the deck and playing games in the field at Grammy & Grampy's weekly Sunday dinners. I'd give just about anything for a few more of those days!!
Rest in peace Uncle Ron, I will always remember you fondly.

Bethany and all who were close to Mr. Lafontaine,
No matter how close you were to this man, a loss is a loss and grief is grief just the same. My infinite condolences go out to all affected by this loss and I can only hope that time may heal all wounds. While there will never be another Ronald Lafontaine, I may only wish for you all that the pain of any holes in your hearts may be at the very least lessened by the passage of time and by the ones you love. As a good friend of Bethany, I only hope to provide a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, and a body to hug. Again, my condolences to all affected.

I just really want to thank everyone who has been so supportive to my mom and me in this difficult time. I'm so lucky for all the incredible people I have in my life. Even though I am heartbroken, my dad suffered from a terrible addiction in his life, and he is finally at peace. RIP Dad. I love you.
