Robert J. “Bobby” Gorgone II, 48, of South Windham and formerly of Lebanon, left this earth much too soon on May 15, 2017. Bobby was born October 10, 1968 in Willimantic, CT the son of Robert Gorgone, Roberta Stanish and stepson of the late Douglas Stanish. He graduated from Windham High School and worked for over 25 years in the auto body industry where he was known for his strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail. Bobby loved riding his Harley Davidson and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Yankees since he was a young child. Anyone who knew Bobby would say he was one of a kind and loyal to the core. Bobby was very generous and always willing to chip in and lend a hand to anyone that needed help. He was likeable, funny, and a hard worker who never stopped until a project was complete.
Bobby’s greatest passion was spending time with his 9-year-old daughter Brooke. They had a bond like no other, taking weekend adventures zip lining, swimming and playing all different sports together. Their competitive spirits kept things interesting and everyone laughing. Whether it was throwing the ball around the yard or going to a basketball game, just spending time together put a smile on his face. Bobby was also very proud of his grown sons Nathan and Curtis, both graduating from college and beginning their careers. In addition to his parents, Bobby is survived by his wife Christina Gorgone, daughter Brooke Gorgone, sons Nathan and Curtis Gorgone, sister Dawn Gorgone, grandmother Anne Gorgone and many other relatives and friends. All will miss him, and they will always remember and cherish the time they had with him.
