Luke J. Matson

Luke James Matson, 14, of Lebanon, CT died at home on Thursday, October 5th, 2017.  He was born on May 16th, 2003 in New Britain, CT to Kirk and Lisa (Ramm) Matson. Luke was a freshman at Lyman Memorial High School who loved music, games, and knew a little something about everything. He could often be found shooting baskets in his driveway or in the woods with his dogs Josie and Fritz.  Luke is survived by his parents, his sister Amy, his grandparents Roger and Wanda (Czaja) Ramm and Issy (Gold) Matson; his aunts and uncles Steve and Rhea Matson, Mark and Monica Rinaudo, and Suzanne Manafort as well as first cousins Amelia and Alex.  Luke was predeceased by his grandfather James Matson and his uncle Eric Ramm. In addition to his family and friends, Luke leaves behind a devastated community: Luke was loved more than he ever knew.  Since Luke considered himself a scientist, his brain has been donated to the Boston University CTE Center.
