Louise Emma Husted Sabo went home to be with her Lord, and Savior, on November 24, 2017. Louise was a resident of South Windham CT where she had resided with her husband, Andrew Sabo since 1964. She was born in Bridgeport CT on April 19, 1922 and was the daughter of Lucy (Lamb) and Lyman Husted

Louise (Lou) was a loving, supportive and devoted wife to her husband Andrew for more than 69 years. She and Andrew were able to celebrate their 69th wedding anniversary this past June 18. Louise was a most loving, and attentive mother, and grandmother, not only to her own children but to many that came to her door. She truly had a God-given capacity to love children both young and old. Along with raising her own children she and Andrew were foster parents and gave a supportive loving home to many many children in the 1960s and 1970s.

Louise was a very active and devoted member of Christian Life Assembly Church in Willimantic CT. Andrew and Louise were part of the founding members that establish that church in Willimantic in the 1950s.

In addition to her loving and devoting husband Andrew, she is survived by her loving daughters, Betty-Lou Wengloski of Windham and Suzanne (Kenneth) Tutto of Lebanon, and also her daughter-in-law Sara Sabo of Willimantic. She will be missed and remembered by those that called her mom, Glenn Charette of Killingly and Walter Freeman of Denver Colorado. Louise (Nana) leaves behind a rich legacy of love, family, and faith to her nine beloved grandchildren, JD Sabo, Adam Sabo, Amy Sabo-Vega, Jason Sabo, Michael Wengloski, Kelsey Tutto-Donovan, Stephen Tutto, Jonathan Wengloski, Chad Wengloski, and their spouses. She also leaves so very much of that amazing legacy to her 19 great grandchildren. Louise is predeceased by her son, John-David Sabo and also James and Benjamin Lanning.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Mission Fund or Mortgage Fund of Christian Life Assembly Church 143 Windham Rd., Willimantic, CT 06226.
