Lori M. Caya, 56, of Hampton, CT, passed away suddenly in her home, April 27, 2016 from unknown causes. She was born March 26, 1960 to Robert and Cecile Karlowicz.
She always had a close relationship with the Lord. Lori was born and raised in Hartford, CT and later settled in Hampton, CT where she raised her family. After graduating from UCONN School of Nursing in 1983, she devoted much of her life to caring for others. She was passionate about her flower garden, Christmas tree grove where she was surrounded by her favorite color green, and the birds nesting within. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and all the holiday music that comes with it. She loved camping with her family and dear friend Sunny Bell (Peterson), and she also loved playing card and dice games.
Lori is survived by her husband Brian Caya, two daughters, Briana and Danelle Caya, mother Cecile Karlowicz, brothers, Rob Karlowicz, Steve Karlowicz, and Tom Karlowicz and sister Cindy Dwyer. As well as her beloved cat Mickey.
The family will receive friends and relatives, Monday, May 2, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, CT 06226. The Funeral Service will be held, Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., at the Hampton Congregational Church, 263 Main St., Hampton, CT 06247.
