50 years ago, we entered the Service to our country Gary. I still remember you, especially certain times during Basic Combat Training that are forever ingrained in my memory. You were tougher than you ( and those Drill Sergeants ) thought! You did yourself proud Bro and I hope you are happy and at complete peace..
Till we meet again..

A year has come and gone since you passed on from this life Dad. Not a day goes by where I don’t think of you. I regret that I did not see you more in the years before you passed. No amount of time or distance can change how I loved my Dad. And no other can ever fill that role in my life. We may not have been blood relatives but you proved that it takes only unconditional love and support to be a parent. And while you can’t read this, I shout to the Heavens with joy, Thank You Dad, for loving me like your own.

Dear Darryl and Keira,

There are no words that will comfort you at this difficult time, my heart breaks for you both and your families. Please know you are both in my thoughts and in my prayers and your Father will always be watching over you. A parent NEVER leaves his children completely. He will be your guardian angel watching over and protecting you both and your families. I love you both.

Love,
Cindy Piccione Perry

What a beautiful tribute! My heart hurts for my cousins. I think all of the photos I've seen of Gary are of him looking lovingly at his kids. Keep the memories close.

Dianne,
I am so happy that you met Gary and that you both enjoyed your time together with your families. .Reading this memorial, I can't help but think that he supported you in your adventures and celebrated your strength and independence.
In equal measure I am saddened to know the pain you and the children will feel with his loss but I know his spirit will carry on in you all. It was too soon, a lesson for all of us to make the most of the time we have. With love and hope for peace, Lauren

Darryl,
We are very sorry about the loss of your Dad. He was very proud of you and Yin. No matter the circumstance, it is hard to lose a parent. Hopefully your loving memories with him will help you with your grief. Again, our sympathies.

Diane,
Words cannot adequately express how sorry we are about the loss of Gary. I remember when you met him. Some other memories I have were dinners and parties, picking out my new house, moving, movies, the October storm, Cape Cod, power outages and my Mom's service to name just a few. I can't imagine the heartache you must be experiencing but always know I am here for you in the good and bad times. Focus on all the wonderful memories you have to help you get thru this difficult time. Again, our deepest condolences.
