Gary D. Adams

Gary Adams, 71, of Lebanon passed away peacefully at home Sunday, March 25, 2018.  Gary was born April 24, 1946 to Lloyd and Delphine (Ladd) Adams and grew up in Lebanon, graduating from Windham Tech in 1964.  Gary worked construction for many years, specializing as a blaster, earning the nickname, “Boom Boom”.  He was a loving man with an unmatched sense of humor, who cherished his close relationships with family and friends. Gary is survived by his son, Andrew Adams of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Jade & Andrew (Little) Adams of Willimantic, and Christen Boisse of Madisionville, TN; sister, Irene Luciano & her husband, Al, of Lebanon and sister-in-law, Lillian Adams, of Lebanon.  Also left to mourn his loss are his stepchildren, Chris, Eddie, Bobby, Rodney, and Kathy, and their spouses, children, and grandchildren; his ex-wife, friend, and mother of his children, Sandra (Lamothe) Harris of Harrison, TN; ‘brothers,’ Bruce Lamothe & his wife, Marjorie, Dennis Lamothe, Gary Lamothe & his wife, Karen, Brian Lamothe & his wife, Luann; ‘sister,’ Margaret (Lamothe) Coates & her husband, Bob, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Gary was predeceased by his son, William Adams; wife, Joanne (Buzzel) Adams and brother, Wayne Adams.  Family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte.195) Willimantic. Funeral Service begins at 11:00 am.
