Evelyn Marie (Corsini) Niderno

Evelyn Marie Niderno, of Windham, Connecticut died October 3, 2017 peacefully with her family surrounding her. Born in Stafford Springs, Connecticut, July 29, 1930 to Renato and Mary Corsini. Evelyn and her late husband Bernard Matthew Niderno were happily married for 54 years.

Evelyn was known for her love of Bingo, the casino and spending time with her family. If you ever stopped by the house you were always guaranteed to never leave hungry. Evelyn especially enjoyed spending as much time as possible with granddaughter, Stacee, which she would often refer to her as, "my stacee." Sunday dinners, attending her son's baseball games and shopping with her daughter have always been near and dear to her heart.

Along with her husband, Bernard, Evelyn was predeceased by her brother Rudolph Corsini. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Hansen and husband Guy of Lebanon, CT, son Robert Niderno and wife Karen Collins of Vero Beach, FL. She also leaves her granddaughter Stacee Hansen of Worcester, MA, along with her brother Richard Corsini and wife Doris.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, CT. Funeral Service will occur at Potter Funeral Home on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Willington Hill Cemetery, Willington, CT.
