Dorothy is survived by her three children, Robin Chesmer (wife Kathryn), Lynda Breault and Patricia McMahon (husband James) and niece Sandra Chesmer and her children, Scott and Claire and Claire’s son Sebastian Tonewo, Dorothy’s seven grandchildren, Lisa Hevner (husband David), Lincoln Chesmer (wife Amy), Neil Breault (wife Amy), Andrea Moshier (husband Douglas), Brenden McMahon, Kyle McMahon and Colby McMahon.  Dorothy’s seven great grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Nana GG”, include Sage Chesmer, Willow Chesmer, Grant Chesmer, Braddock Chesmer, Indigo Hevner, Calvin Moshier and Elizabeth (Libby) Breault; she is also survived by her nieces living in Canada, Lenore Corey, Barbara Chesmer, June Black and their families.

Dorothy was predeceased by her two sisters, Grace Steggall and Eva Shirley, son-in-law Arthur Breault and nephews Graham Chesmer and Arthur Chesmer and sister-in-law Kathleen Chess and brothers-in-law Henry Chesmer and Arthur G.Chesmer.  Dorothy’s family is very appreciative of the excellent care provided by Masonicare Hospice and her caregiver, Karen Leif.  There are no calling hours.  Services will be private.  Donations may be made to: Masonicare Hospice Unit, 339 Flanders Road, Suite 215, Latimer Brook Commons, East Lyme, CT 06333.
