Carlos Yantin, 20, of Willimantic, passed away Friday September 23, 2016 due to injuries sustained from a automobile accident. He was born in Willimantic, the son of Oneida Rivera and Carlos Yantin. He enjoyed his free time going to car shows with friends and spending time with his family. He graduated from Path Academy just this year and he could not have been more proud. Carlos worked full-time at the North Windham Walmart. He had a passion for Honda Civic’s, motorcycle and mopeds. He enjoyed joy riding on beautiful summer days and lived life to the fullest. He always had a smile and always searched for ways to better himself. In addition to his parents, Carlos is survived by a step-father Hernan Rodriguez; grandparents Miriam Jimenez, Nelson Rivera and Diane Yantin; two brothers and two sister; three nieces and two nephews; he is also survived by his god parents Luz Rivera and David Yantin; many aunts and uncles as well as cousins. Carlos’s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday September 28, 2016 at 5:00pm at Kingdom Destiny Outreach International, 120 Union St., Willimantic, CT 06226. His funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00am at Kingdom Destiny Outreach International, 120 Union St. Willimantic, CT, with burial to follow at the New Willimantic Cemetery, Willimantic.
