Aimee Katelyn Sycz, 29, of Ashford passed away on August 8, 2017. She was born on February 3, 1988, in Manchester, CT. Aimee was a graduate of E.O. Smith High School, Storrs, CT and Keuka College, Keuka, NY.
The beloved daughter of Kathy and Michael Sycz, Aimee is also survived by her brother, Tony Sycz and his wife Kendra and their children Gianna and Caleb, aunts and uncles Larry Sycz and wife Patricia, Carolyn Hirchburg and husband Tom, Liz Rankine and husband David, Paul Whitehouse and wife Mary Ann, Janet Ganzer, Ed Whitehouse, Dick Whitehouse, Charlie Whitehouse and wife Elaine, Bill Whitehouse, Bob Whitehouse, Nancy Whitham and husband Pete and Jim Whitehouse, and great aunt Sophie Krupa. Aimee also leaves several close-knit cousins, an extended family and close friends.
Aimee loved life, nature and the people in her life. She enjoyed writing from her soul and expressing herself though poetry and photography. A private service will be held for the immediate family at the cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends on Saturday August 19, 2017 at 11:00 am at 16 Town Hall Rd, Ashford, CT.
